@ssudheer As Robbie said, I don't see that there is any value to the project in reverting my commit in order to apply a near identical commit under your name. If you have a commit coming then put a comment on the JIRA so that others don't waste their time making the change themselves. Given the change has been made, the only affect would be to effectively alter the name associated with the change in GitHub. We're always happy to accept PRs from external contributors, but I'm not a mind reader to know that a change has been made locally by someone working 1000s of miles/kilometres away. Obviously if I'd known you had a PR coming I wouldn't have wasted my time recreating the change - but there was no indication on the JIRA that anyone intended to raise a PR -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
