Running store.py tests on the RH msgstore

I noticed cpp/src/tests/store.py which is only used in the Cmake build. I assume it's testing the windows store.
Is this a generic enough test that we could run it against the RH store as well? We could take a similar approach as cluster_tests.py which has store-specific tests.
