There is a debian distribution of qpid on Launchpad. It is not complete (missing an init.d script) but it atleast means you don't have to build qpidd from source.
https://launchpad.net/~kb3gtn/+archive/qpid You can also try my "sprinkle" scripts to load qpid on ubuntu but they are a little fragile. They do include an init.d script as well. https://github.com/gec/reef-sprinkle-scripts Sam On Mon, Aug 15, 2011 at 9:55 AM, Rajith Attapattu <[email protected]>wrote: > We had a contributor who did build ubuntu packages for Qpid. > However I am not sure about the current status and a bit of googling > found the following link > http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1785914 > > From searching the mailing lists for the contributor of ubuntu > packages I found Mike Owens. > Maybe contact him here [1] and see whats the current status. > > Regards, > > Rajith > > [1] http://about.me/mikeowens/ > > On Mon, Aug 15, 2011 at 7:42 AM, Russell Bryant > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Greetings, > > > > I recently started working on the Matahari project [1], which uses > > QMF.
