It was my general impression. What with the examples using drain and spout, and 
qpid-config, to set things up, which are C++ broker utilities, right?

Thanks, Gordon.

I will digest that and see what I can do to streamline the addressing in my 
application. Also, I begin to suspect nobody else is using custom exchanges on 
the Java broker ;) Maybe once I finish a resilience plugin?
