I had a look and dont see the 'original' file I worked on in GIMP when putting the logo together, but it wouldnt really be any better than the following PNG because if memory serves the starting point for it was just a screengrab from a zoomed in PDF anyway.
This is as good as it gets I believe: http://qpid.apache.org/images/qpid-logo-900x480.png (I notice its missing a TM stamp, I must have left it out when updating the site as I dont think we actually use the file anywhere).
