Thank You Robbie for your time, This is what I had in mind too, but directly working with AMQConnectionFactory seems like a no-support future, not good :)
btw we made it work in Virgo using the class loader, you can take the : Thread.currentThread().setContextClassLoader(PropertiesFileInitialContextFactory.class.getClassLoader()); and it will work also. The problem seems to be in Apache Karaf only, because setting the classloader in this way has no effect what so-ever. And Karaf forum seems like the place to go - if only they would accept my posts :) Anyhow, thank you for your time again.
