The tests are in the source you downloaded, under src/tests. The old
tests are qpid-perftest and qpid-latencytest. These are still valid but
the newer test which is now prefered (and uses the messaging API) is
qpid-cpp-benchmark (a script that drives qpid-receive and qpid-send).
These should also all be installed on make install (to
<libexec>/qpid/tests/ on my system).
