I performed builds and ran the standard test suites for the cpp and java
components. I ran into only one failure in my environment, Fedora 16
x86_64, in one of the logging tests. Chuck has since fixed it.
As it happens, I tested only the autotools build for the cpp component, so
if someone would like to also put cmake through some testing, that would
be great.
cmake build works fine for me (Fedora 17); tests also fine except for
the ipv6 stuff that is failing for me on trunk as well (haven't yet
figured this out, but seems to be platform or environment specific)
