The logging in the legacystore and linearstore needs a complete re-evaluation:
1. The types and styles of the log messages are inconsistent;
2. The log levels (error, warning, ) are inconsistent and arbitrary;
3. The log messages are inconsistent and not matched well in the code (ie a log
message may log the creation of an object, but not its deletion, or may log
occurrences of events only in some circumstances, but not all depending on the
code path).
4. The logging style and technique is not consistent with other broker logging.
The logging for linearstore needs to be planned and mapped out prior to
implementation.
