We are beginning to require Java 7 in the 0.30 release cycle (QPID-5717). At
the same time we need to keep an eye on compatibility with Java 8.
The main build jobs for the java source tree have been moved to Java7 for
QPID-5717. The old Java7 job has been now moved to Java8, and it is currently
failing to compile. This JIRA will serve to track changes needed to get the job
compiling and passing.
