An issue I've come up against over the past two releases has involved compiler flags, specifically in Fedora, revealing a couple of issues with the code that causes package builds to fail. Specifically, the one that's come up again with the 0.30 release is dead code.
What I would like to propose is to add compiler flags to CMake to turn on (at least for releases) compiler flags that report errors on dead code, minimally. Thoughts? -- Darryl L.
