Justin Ross commented on QPID-6394:
-----------------------------------

I see this at revision 1660430:

-- Found BerkeleyDB: /usr/lib64/libdb_cxx.so
-- Looking for io_queue_init in aio
-- Looking for io_queue_init in aio - found
-- Looking for include file libaio.h
-- Looking for include file libaio.h - found
-- BerkeleyDB for C++ and libaio found, Legacystore support enabled [1]
-- Legacystore is excluded from build.
-- Found BerkeleyDB: /usr/lib64/libdb_cxx.so
-- BerkeleyDB for C++ and libaio found, Linearstore support may be enabled
(currently experimental and disabled by default) [2]
-- Including BDB from /usr/include/db_cxx.h
-- Building linearstore tests
{noformat}

 - [1] should mention that it is disabled by default
 - [2] should say "linearstore enabled"

It would be nice to make the capitalization consistent as well. The other
modules use lower case unless they reference a title such as Python or Qpid.

> Make linearstore the default store.
> Currently for cmake builds, the legacystore is the default store. Within
> cmake settings, {{BUILD_LEGACYSTORE}} is set to {{ON}}, and
> {{BUILD_LINEARSTORE}} is set to {{OFF}}. Reversing these will allow
> linearstore to build by default, but for those still wanting the legacystore,
> running {{ccmake}} will allow them to 'undo' this change.
> Note that one cannot have both linearstore and legacystore present at the
> same time in a qpid build, as the broker will load both simultaneously. This
> will result in undefined behavior.
