The selector verification bits used to be in their own optional module, but
were consolidated into the main client module
(https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=qpid-jms.git;a=commit;h=98a99d3bcb7e2e51cf9ba251f525fb9d55fb84fa)
prior to the first release. When this was done some indirection around the
selector check, used to avoid failure if the optional module wasnt used, was
accidentally left in place. It should be removed.
