cyrus-sasl? Did you build it yourself or install packages for your platform?
I tried putting this library in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH etc., but it doesn't
seem to want to pick it up. Is there any other path/setting that I need to
set.
SASL_PATH is the appropriate env var for locating mechanism plugins I
believe (though I never have to set this myself).
