The displayname feature is partially implemented in 0.6.0. It needs to be
wired into the connection-open sequence.
This feature allows user-friendly identities to be used in lieu of complicated
identities from x.509 certificates (particularly if the certificate signature
is used for identification).
The user-friendly identities appear in the connection attributes and are used
to index access policy.
