Hi all,

I don't want this to get lost. Just thought I'd send out a ping. Our team would
like to know any thoughts on this, whether it's something that might be able to
go in, or if it's something that definitely will not so we can make some
decisions on our end.

Thanks!
-Andrew

Subject: [jira] [Created] (PROTON-1283) Adds support for transport layers not
currently implemented in the library

Andrew Buckley created PROTON-1283:
--------------------------------------

Summary: Adds support for transport layers not currently
implemented in the library
                 Key: PROTON-1283
                 URL:
https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3a%2f%2fissues.apache.org%2fjira%2fbrowse%2fPROTON-1283&data=01%7c01%7candbuc%40microsoft.com%7cea223fc4a5e54c20b35108d3c61d5e4f%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=C2QxyGxN0%2f8o2KHKNem%2bFUJE%2b2X0m1mJfLWqBNVO96o%3d
             Project: Qpid Proton
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Andrew Buckley

This would add the ability for users to implement their own transport layers
and have it be usable by the library.

I made a pull request last week which you can see here:
https://github.com/apache/qpid-proton/pull/77
