Summary: Node selection and location is lost when the topology
changes

On the topology page if you select a router and move the mouse over a different
router, the paths between those routers is highlighted.
However, if the topology changes because of a client being added/removed, the
selected router and the highlighted paths are lost.
The selected router should remain selected after an update.
