Kim van der Riet commented on QPIDIT-55:
----------------------------------------
There is a PROTON_INSTALL_DIR cmake variable which should be accessible through
ccmake or can be set on the command-line when running cmake which can be used
to point to an install of Qpid Proton. Can this work for you? I use it for
local installs of Qpid Proton (within my home dir), but it should also work for
other locations.
> Proton install dir is hard coded into cmake

> Components: Proton C++ Shim

>
> Recent commits in cmake force proton to be at /usr/local. This does not work
> for me.
> We should swipe qpid-cpp/amqp code and consume proton the same way.
