I have just built the router using the bits from the Ganesh fork with the above
update (not yet merged in the original repo).
Against my unit tests related to the MQTT frontend, the router doesn't crash
anymore and I can see a clean closing procedure of the links and connections
from the MQTT frontend.
So ... it seems that the Ganesh update is working fine.
