I let it run all the 1000 loops and it did not crash for me either (latest master of dispatch and proton, running in Debian testing in Docker).
If I recall correctly, I still have few more tickets like this one in the tracker. Please give me a day to rerun it all and close what is now out-of-date, so that you can investigate the real issues... -- Jiří Daněk
