Alex Rudyy resolved QPID-7531.

Resolution: Fixed
Lorenz and I worked together on the changes committed under this JIRA. We
tided-up critical issues for v7. As part of this work we raised a number of
JIRAs to address the remaining issues in the future releases. The changes have
been reviewed as part of working on pair. Thus, closing the JIRA.
