Dragging a node (circle) and dropping it in a new location is supposed to fix
that node in the new location.
This works if the node was present when the page was loaded, but if the node
appeared after the page loaded, it doesn't work.
Also, if the background map was visible when a new node appears, the background
map will disappear.
