There seem to be a number of small issues in getting asan testing to work
correctly on FreeBSD. Tests that fail

One of the issues is that the preload_asan.sh script assume that bash is
/bin/bash which is not correct for BSDs - actually the script could just be a
simple bourne shell script which is alsways in /bin/sh without much effort.
However this is not the only problem.
