Yes, git clone was on windows, then I ran ant release to build the tgz and 
ftp'ed to Linux.  Previously, I must have downloaded a pre-built release tgz 
files to windows, then ftp'ed to Linux.

Now, to build my own release and run the scripts,  I'll have to git clone on 
linux.
