Hi :) Gradle build problem does not looks like name changing issue. As you mentioned, this issue can be considered seperately from name change. I will modify gradle script to master.
And, I think that it's good to merge now because most of the PPMC members approved. However, it's good to guide in README.md and our website in order to reduce the confusion before merge.
