My impression is that all overhead would pretty much disappear if the binary format was gzipped. I would like to see a variant of the .rkt format with implicit compression, like .jar's, or .pdf's. These are compressed, but without the file name extension exposing that fact to users. _________________________________________________ For list-related administrative tasks: http://lists.racket-lang.org/listinfo/dev
