You want something that inserts newlines instead of word wrapping with the soft newlines, right? There isn't a keybinding for that in drracket, but there is one in sirmail that would probably work okay here too. If you (or anyone) were to pull it out and play with it until it was to your liking, I'd be happy to add it to drracket.
