Interesting background! I'd assumed it was a case of great minds
thinking alike -- as a schemer with a soft spot in my heart (head?) for
standard ML, I've found it interesting to compare Harper's blog posts
about teaching CS 101-style classes in Standard ML with the HtDP
approach.
