I'm getting lots of failures from the stepper's automatic tests along the lines of, e.g., + being rendered as "beginner-+" rather than "+". I haven't taken a look at it yet, but I'm guessing this is related to the changes to "object-name" that appear to be mentioned in your commit messages.
