This looks like a crash that I've seen, but only a couple of times over months. For the crash I saw, control was in libpixman via libcairo during the rendering of the Plot manual, but I haven't been able to replicate it to investigate further.
Are you seeing the crash frequently? Can you get a core file and/or stack trace?
