Tuesday was the beginning of the next release cycle. As you noticed, we did not send out a start-of-release message. Instead we have decided to postpone the beginning of the release cycle until approximately 10/24 so that we can get ready for the 6.0 release based on packages. Depending on our experiences with the package server, we may also stretch out some of the phases of the next release.
