I know this is old but the description of this issue seems cut off and is
missing any documentation.
I wonder what the rationale for just copying the Hadoop KMS code was. Why
couldn't it just be reused as a dependency? And what are the plans to keep it
up to date. I just took a quick look but it looks like it hasn't changed in the
last two years. Meaning improvements and fixes the upstream version has
received haven't made it to Ranger.
