To avoid this issue before installing Ranger, User can separately run this script to reduce db setup and installation time. 1) Execute DBA setup and ensure that ranger-admin user & database are created. 2) From a Client tool execute ranger_core_db_<DB FLAVOR>.sql file on the database created in previous step.
