Summary: TagSync process is running but Source and/or Sink Threads
are not doing any work

Any exceptions thrown in run methods will cause source/sink thread to finish
execution.
When this happens the tagsync process will continue running without doing any
work.
We should handle this exceptions/errors and attempt to retry if possible. If
not possible to retry then stop TagSync process. This way users will be
notified that TagSync failed and is not doing any work.
