For viewing audits in Ranger UI, Solr should be configured. Please see

> I am trying to use Ranger 1.2.0 version using a standalone hive and deploying
> them using docker images. I have enabled properties in hive component for
> getting the audit logs in apache ranger. But I dont see any logs reflecting
> on the admin console.  Will it be possible to share any official
> documentation for apache ranger 1.2.0 for configuring audit logs with log4j
> or Postgres DB.
> As a POC I did create a *{{hive-log4j.properties file and added the required
> properties for log4j in the ranger-hive-audit.xml file.Still no luck w}}*hen
> I goto the audit tab of Ranger I am getting the following error "No Access
> Audit found!".
>
> Any help or documentation for 1.2.0 would be highly appreciated
