Recently ran into this as well and ended up implementing pretty much the same
patch you have. I didn't run into any issues building the whole project though
- what were the issues you had with hive-agent?
If you'd like, I can attach my patch here for reference as well. (Let me know,
I don't want to step on any toes)
Very interested in seeing the progress on this! Let me know if there's anything
I can help with, whether that's testing or patching.
