Thanks for your answer, it worked! I loaded the file in that folder and Ranger
recognised the Druid service. I'm currently trying to follow the steps in your
repo about loading the plugin in Druid.
I keep getting "Could not resolve type id 'ranger' as a subtype of
`org.apache.druid.server.security.Authorizer`", even though I loaded the .jar
file and the .xml files in the right folder of every Druid service (and
modified .xml accordingly to my build).
I followed official documentation and declared:
druid.auth.authorizers=["ranger"], druid.auth.authorizer.ranger.type=ranger.
Also, I added "ranger" in druid.extensions.loadlist.
Is there any key step I'm missing? Thank you for your contribution

problem:`java.lang.NullPointerException`", even though I loaded the .jar file
