Ranger changes once per year. Trino changes every 2 weeks. There are about 100
API's that change constantly that cause Trino access control features to break.
I tried maintaining a 2nd class Trino plugin built and maintained as part of
Apache Ranger project. It just doesnt work.
Additionally, this community is nearly unresponsive to the speed of changes
that would needed to maintain such a plugin inside Apache Ranger itself.
