- verified the signature and checksums
- successfully built using docker setup
- verified all Ranger services, except tagsync, started successfully with
Postgres database
- verified plugins enforcement of Ranger policies in HDFS, Hive, HBase, Knox
containers
- verified plugins create audit logs successfully in Solr and HDFS
- verified usersync successfully reported new users and groups
- Ranger tagsync startup failed with following error:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/log4j/Logger
at
org.apache.ranger.tagsync.ha.TagSyncHAInitializerImpl.<clinit>(TagSyncHAInitializerImpl.java:39)
at
org.apache.ranger.tagsync.process.TagSynchronizer.main(TagSynchronizer.java:68)
Above issue should be fixed for 2.8.0 release, tracked by RANGER-5495.
