Since is a major change, can we co-ordinate this patch properly?
I see 2 options:
1. Bite the bullet and commit this change before anyone else updates any file.
This will result in less conflicts and/or overwrites
2. Create a branch and do the changes there. Once everything looks good, merge
from the branch to main.
I will prefer option #1, even though it is risky, if anything goes wrong, we
can put all our effort together to resolve it.
Can we come to a resolution soon on this?
