I just stumbled across this issue when I tried to add groups through
the API like this:
POST to /service/xusers/groups with body:
{
"name":"office2013",
"groupSource":1
}
I get a reply which seems to show the groupSource wasn't respected:
{
id: 21
createDate: "2015-04-30T19:34:42Z"
updateDate: "2015-04-30T19:34:42Z"
name: "office2013"
groupType: 0
groupSource: 0
}
and the group shows as "Internal" in the API.
Or did I use the API incorrectly?
Using Ranger 0.4 (Release) with HDP 2.2.
