Rich Haase commented on RANGER-692:
-----------------------------------
Using the ranger setup scripts logging choices are forced on us. I have to use
a different set of logging rules for usersync and admin. If I hadn't spotted
this ticket yesterday I would have had to spend time searching for the admin
log4j.xml. It would be very nice to be able to manage the logging properties
of ranger through an expected configuration path.
> RangerAdmin should use log4j.xml from the conf folder.

> Currently log4j.xml for RangerAdmin is in ews/webapp/WEB-INF/log4j.xml. We
> should come with a design where it is in the conf folder and can be
> customized by the user. If customized, then we should not overwrite on
> upgrade or reinstall.
