[~bolke] - Sorry for the delay. Will provide feedback once I take a look at 
this patch. In the meanwhile, it would be helpful if you can update with the 
testing performed for this patch.

-- Env tested (OS version, AD/LDAP etc)
-- Scenarios tested (initial sync, user addition, update etc)
-- Plan for ranger admin authentication
