Selvamohan Neethiraj commented on RANGER-1038:
----------------------------------------------

[~deepakhuawei] - LDAP sync default sleeptime between sync is much higher - set
to 60 mins where as UNIX default sleeptime between sync is 60 seconds .... It
may be the reason - why you are seeing this behavior.  You can always set this
value manually to be anything higher than 60 seconds (60000 milliseconds)

> Usersync process is not syncing users from AD at intervals based on
> sleeptimeinmillisbetweensynccycle

> Scenario:
> 1. added an user(newtest2) to AD.
> 2. restarted the usersync service
> 3. user newtest2 gets syncd
> 4. same way added user newtest3 to AD
> 5. waited till user newtest3 gets syncd
> ER: user newtest3 should get syncd
> AR: user newtest3 does not get syncd
> now if i restart the usersync service then it will get syncd
> this scenario is working fine for if ranger sync source is UNIX but if it is
> ldap then this issue is faced
