Nigel Jones commented on RANGER-721:
------------------------------------
I'm new to ranger, but HDFS would only be appropriate for some components, so
perhaps the configuration associated with each plugin could allow for a
reference to some kind of resource bundle (files) to be setup, which the plugin
could then pull at startup? There could be multiple sources for such a bundle
including a simple url, hdfs file location etc?
> Central distribution of files to Ranger plugins

> To setup Ranger with repositories that are using custom ContextEnricher and
> ConditionEvaluator implementation, I need to install the JAR files (with my
> custom dynamic-policy implementation) to:
> * Ranger Admin UI software
> * each Ranger plugin for each repository that is registered within Ranger
> admin
> As a system admin, I would like to have simple centralized distribution of
> those plugins across all Ranger plugins, so I do not have manually manipulate
> with the JAR files every time we introduce a new custom dynamic-policy.
