Justin Mclean commented on RANGER-1159:
---------------------------------------

Only relocated copyright information is placed in the NOTICE file this is
usually from a software grant or stuff bubbled up from other Apache licensed
NOTICE files. NOTICE file is not a generally a place to list copyright
information.

Looking at the modified NOTICE I see you still have listed json2.js and Font
Awesome license in NOTICE as permissive licenses these do not need to be in
NOTICE but should be in LICENSE.

Why is the Spring Security Project mentioned in NOTICE?

> fix Apache v2 license in the NOTICE file - based on suggestions from Justin
> McLean during IPMC review of 0.6.1 release ...

> There's no need to normally list Apache v2 license in the NOTICE file unless
> they have a NOTICE file [1] I believe this has been brought up before.
