RATIS-5 feature branch contains the proposed site for
ratis.incubator.apache.org.
The final patch is uploaded to the RATIS-5 issue [1]
This is the initial version which is created according to the Apache
policies [2]. It uses hugo (a single binary site generator) and uses
bootstrap based styles and contains a minimal set of content to start.
This is a formal vote request to merge RATIS-5 patch (squashed version
of RATIS-5 branch) to a new branch (asf-site-source) and commit the
rendered version to another branch (asf-site). (I will ask apache infra
to use asf-site branch as the source of the website and create jenkins
job to regenerate site in case of source change).
Please check the site and vote. Rendered version is also attached to
ratis-rendered.tar.gz and can be checked at
https://elek.github.io/ratis-site/ together with the source) but please
also check the rendering process if you can (just call hugo from the
ratis-site directory and check the results in the public folder)
Unfortunatelly this vote is opened just a few days before christmas so
it will close no earlier than one week from today (29/12), to be sure
everybody had the opportunity to check it and vote.
