This indeed is still open.
There has been quite some discussions in the Incubator on this topic (again),
especially in the context of the AOO releases, from which I hoped some general
purpose guideline would submerge which we then simply could reference.
Actually, Marvin Humphrey made a good start for that, see INCUBATOR-125, but it
seems to be stuck again.
I'd rather see that succeed and try help with that effort instead of writing
one specific for Rave.
ApacheCON EU next week might be a good time to try get some people together for
this and see if we can get this moving (again).
