JPA is implementation agnostic and if we are coding to the JPA standard, it
should work whether we use Hibernate, eclipselink or OpenJPA. This issue
covers implicit code dependencies on the way open jpa does things. IMO, this
qualifies it as a bug; but I am willing to call it whatever the community
considers best.
