Thank you for your help... yes you are right it is failing at install level
only, when i run mvn install.
Below are details...

*JRE 1.7.0.51*
*MAC OS (Mavericks)*
*TOMCAT 6*
*/usr/local/apache-rave-0.23*

- To build the Rave project invoke maven in the root directory (
*/usr/local/apache-rave-0.23*) :
      *$mvn install*
*      when i run above i get this error*
